The British Staunton chess set exquisitely made from ebony wood and natural boxwood. The King proudly stands at  4" inches and its base is robust 1.75 ". This is a captivated design featuring the magnificently robust and remarkable knight. The dark chess pieces are made of ebony wood. It would be difficult to find a more sumptuous wood than ebony wood for the dark side chess pieces. The texture of the ebony wood is fine and a true pleasure to hold.

 The carving and the design of the knight are quite spectacular, look closely at the eyes, nostrils, and details around the mane. The design of the other pieces is also highly outstanding. They are meticulously handcrafted from the finest grade ebony wood and polished by hand to give it a rich and long-lasting shine.
